Mission of Ventura County Fairgrounds Foundation
The mission of the Ventura County Fairgrounds Foundation is to provide financial support for improvements to the grounds, capital projects, equipment and programs in order that the Ventura County Fairgrounds continue to be an exemplary multi-use community resource.
About the Foundation
The Ventura County Fairgrounds receives no tax dollars and therefore depends on event revenue and community donations.
The Ventura County Fairgrounds’ proximity to the ocean is great for sweeping views and cool summer breezes, but the damp, salt air wreaks havoc on the meeting facilities and structures, many of which were built more than 75 years ago.
Concerned community leaders have established the Ventura County Fairgrounds Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising and allocating the funds necessary to preserve and enhance the vitality of the Fairgrounds for generations to come.
This 501(c)3, non-profit organization is dedicated to preserving the Fairgrounds position as one of the most beloved and unique public facilities in all of Ventura County. To learn more about the Foundation and how you can get involved, please contact Stacy Rianda at (805) 648-3376, ext. 107, or email to srianda@venturacountyfair.org.
Ways to Give
The VC Fairgrounds belongs to you in times of emergency. We provide accommodations to first responders, evacuees, displaced livestock and more. The fairgrounds also serves as a command center for emergency officials during floods, landslides, wildfires and other emergencies.
Providing clean buildings, reliable electricity, showers, living spaces as well as horse stalls and animal refuge in a moment’s notice is only possible because of the financial support we get from the community.
Please take a few minutes to help keep the VC Fairgrounds up and running in peak condition during times of crisis and all year long. Your tax deductible donation will be a life saving gift to your Ventura County friends and neighbors.
Please choose your donation level from the drop-down menu below. All transactions will take place through PayPal’s secure servers.
